The Department of Philosophy, Anthropology, and Religion at Central Michigan University invites applications for a half-time Lecturer position in archaeology to begin August 2022. The successful candidate will teach four sections of ANT 174: Inequality in the Ancient World, two in Fall 2022 and two in Spring 2023. Each course will have some students taking the course as a writing-intensive section. Courses are capped at 40 students each. One of the Spring 2023 sections will be offered online in an 8-week section; the other courses will be taught in person at our campus in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

Required Qualifications

Candidates for this position must have their MA in Anthropology completed by the start date and the ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
