The course has a strong international vocation, with two scholarships allocated toforeign graduate students and a program of lectures given by visiting professors, thanks to the ministerial funding of the Department of Excellence project. Furthermore, the PhD program has a strong multi- and interdisciplinary connotation, guaranteed by the confluence of strategic sectors of veterinary medical education and a sector of medical education (occupational health).
