(Adjunct Faculty Hiring, Credentialing and Professional Development)
Hiring Range $46,438.00 - $59,000
Description of Position
The Instructional Support Analyst works in the Office of Instruction and
manages the application and hiring process for adjunct faculty, manages the
districtwide faculty credential documentation to ensure adherence to regional
accreditation and facilitates faculty orientations, including support for
full-time faculty moving from provisional to continuous status.
The Instructional Support Analyst job responsibilities include:
Manage adjunct faculty application and hiring process.
Create requisitions, job postings and collaborate with academic department
hiring managers.
Monitor completion of adjunct faculty hiring paperwork, including creation
of onboarding portals for adjunct faculty.
Maintain faculty credentialing documentation, ensuring accuracy and
completion.
Verify accrediting body for institutions, ensuring work experience is
documented appropriately and verifying the completion of degree and level
on transcripts.
Work with Human Resources Business Partners to ensure accurate credential
criteria on full-time faculty job postings.
Support full-time and adjunct faculty orientations, including monthly
meetings and completion of trainings.
Support the Peer Mentor Review Committee and act as a communication
liaison between the committee and Office of Academic Affairs for portfolio
preparation and the number of faculty moving from the provisional to
continuous status.
Minimum Expectations & Requirements
Associate's degree.
Two or more years of administrative, human resource, or higher education
experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
Effective facilitation skills.
Attention to detail.
Demonstrated knowledge and good judgment in matters of policy and
procedures.
Ability to work with an outward mindset to consider others' experiences,
thoughts, and opinions.
Regular attendance is an essential job function as it demonstrates
dependability towards the performance of job duties.
Preferred Skills & Abilities
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
Professional experience in a community college or higher education work
environment.
Experience with Banner and/or NeoGov/Neo Ed

LEAVE BENEFITS
Vacation : 10 days of Vacation leave annually. NOTE: For employees
who work an amount of contractual days, there will be no earned vacation.
Sick Leave: 12 days sick leave annually. NOTE: Employees working
less than full time or an amount of contractual days will receive a
proration of sick leave.
Personal Leave: Use of up to three personal leave days per year which
are charged against accumulated sick leave to take care of items of
personal business
Other Leave: Bereavement leave, Civic Duty Leave (Jury duty, active
military duty, military training), and Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
Holidays: 24 days during the year as paid holidays for full-time
employees which include Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, 3 days
at Thanksgiving, Winter/year end break (10 days), Martin Luther King
Day, Spring Break, Memorial Day, and Juneteenth.
OTHER BENEFITS
Spanish Interpreter Incentive Program: Employees interested in
additional compensation for their Spanish speaking skills agree to assist
YC by attending two recruiting events and being available for Spanish
Interpretation needs as they arise. Compensation is added to the
employee's regular pay at the rate of $175 per month. Employees that are
interested in participating let your HR Business partner know, so they can
schedule you for the ACTFL language proficiency test at the YC testing
center.
Direct Deposit: Paychecks deposited directly into the employee's bank
account(s)
Tuition Waiver: Eligible Full-time Faculty and Staff may enroll up to
6 hours; eligible dependents may enroll in a partial or full program of
course work without payment of tuition, exceptions may be lab fees and
market based additional fees
Sabbatical: Faculty, professional and administrative staff may apply
for compensated leave of up to a year after six years of continuous
service
