Work in the Office of Student Experience and Engagement under supervision of Vice President Dr. Shari Bax and with the student coordinator for the American Democracy Project. The American Democracy Project (ADP) is a co-operative initiative of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU), The New York Times, and AASCU Member-Institutions. The project involves 300 member campuses including the University of Central Missouri. The project involves a series of national activities coordinated by the national project coordinators, and a series of campus activities coordinated by each participating campus.
This position will require cooperation with the campus coordinator, Dr. Shari Bax and student coordinator. The student will be tasked with helping to run the day to day efforts of ADP with responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
This position requires a driven individual with strong public speaking skills, and familiarity and comfort with social media, spreadsheet management, and word processing.
