We are looking for a talented individual to join our ambitious Alumni Engagement team to cover a maternity leave as a Alumni Engagement Technical and Data Assistant. This position is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is a great communicator that can interact and liaise with people at all level of backgrounds as well as members of the University and Colleges, someone with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and experience of working with a CRM database of some sort. Advanced level of knowledge of Microsoft Office software package (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and good knowledge of working with data and technology is also essential criteria for this role.
The Alumni Engagement team is responsible for increasing the breadth and depth of engagement with the University's community of over 300,000 ambassadors, advocates and supporters, who are critical to the success of the delivery of our strategic goals and the University of Cambridge's significant potential. It's an exciting time to join our office as we build on our "Dear World, Yours Cambridge" fundraising campaign. The momentum created by the campaign is unique and we are investing in the team that will continue to build on our success and take us into the future. Our Development and Alumni Relations office is a lively, collaborative and stimulating place to work.
This is a fixed-term Maternity Cover for 12 months or the return of the post holder, whichever is earlier.
This role is based in central Cambridge, however we practise a hybrid working model and the successful candidate will be expected to be in the office for a minimum of two days a week.
