Invites applications for the position of:
Bookstore Associate
Hours: 1:00 PM - 6:30 PM Monday - Thursday, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Friday
Location: 693 W 1210 S St. Spanish Fork, UT 84660
Status: Part-Time / Non-Exempt
Wage: $ 12.00/hour
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Track all shipments received and prepare interoffice mail to be delivered
to MTECH campuses
Receives orders from instructors on materials needed for instruction in
classes to place in the store. Must be able to multi-task and fill orders
in a timely manner with accuracy
Makes change, cashes checks, and issues receipts for customers
Must be willing to cover other shifts and/or other Bookstore locations as
needed
Tracks inventory and places necessary orders as needed
Attend all required meetings and trainings
Competencies:
Strong customer service skills
Computer literate
Proficient with ten-key
Database/data entry, record, store, or maintain information in either
written or electronic form
Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly and fluently in
English
Can follow written and/or oral instructions, applicable laws, regulations
and other policies and procedures
Detail-oriented, good organization skills
Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Qualifications
High School Diploma is required, or equivalent
2+ years' experience in retail, grocery, or similar setting
Must be 18 years or older
Must be experienced with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or equivalent
MTECH maintains the right to conduct a criminal history background check;
