The Office of Admissions seeks a hard-working, highly self-motivated, enthusiastic and energetic student with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills as well as natural leadership qualities. This position will report to the Associate Director of Admissions as part of the recruitment team, assisting with recruitment of prospective students and office work to support the communication with these prospective students.

Responsibilities include:

  • Giving campus tours
  • Developing relationships with prospective students, parents, high school counselors and campus partners
  • Communicate with prospective students via email, phone, text, social media and in person
  • Assembling mailings and packages for prospective students and high school counselors
  • Data entry of prospective student information
  • Assisting with recruitment events to help students learn about WSU
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Required Qualifications

    -Ability to give at least 2 campus tours per week. Campus tour times are Monday-Friday, at 10:00am and 2:00pm. -Ability to work 2 after hour tours per semester. After hour tours are Wednesdays at 6:00pm and Saturdays at 10:00am. -Attendance of mandatory weekly Wednesday ambassador meetings, 3:30pm-5:00pm. -Reliable form of transportation. -Ability to visit assigned high school on a monthly basis. -Represent the University in a positive manner. As an ambassador, you are often the first contact a prospective student has with Weber State University.
