The University of York International Pathway College (IPC) is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced, professional Administrator to join our Academic and Professional Support Team. As an Administrator with the IPC, you can look forward to joining a dynamic, professional and friendly team who work in partnership with colleagues across the Department and University. Reporting to the Departmental Manager, you will help to support and adapt a range of administrative processes to ensure that we provide a seamless and equitable service to our staff and students within the IPC.Role
This is a busy and varied role and key responsibilities will be to provide administrative support for IPC Pre-Sessional Programmes, with a focus on data related processes, including monitoring and reporting on student enrollments, exam and assessment results, and progression requirements; preparing for and servicing External Exam board meetings and managing enquiries from students and agents. Applicants should have excellent IT, communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to multitask and prioritise.Skills, Experience & Qualification needed
An experienced administrator with very strong IT skills, with the ability to use Google apps and Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
Ability to use databases and complex spreadsheets, gather and process information and generate accurate data on request
Ability to effectively organise and prioritise own work and follow procedures in order to produce work to a high standard, to required deadlines
Experience of providing an excellent standard of customer service
