AIM-AHEAD Coordinating Center: Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Consortium to Advance Health Equity and Researcher Diversity.

Position Overview

The Administrative Coordinator will assist the Principal Investigator (PI), and Project Management Office with clerical support to support cross-program activities for the AIM-AHEAD project.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Considerable knowledge of general office procedures and practices. Knowledge of University policies and procedures related to the area of assignment. Skill in making mathematical calculations and computations. Ability to keep complex records; to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to work without close supervision. Knowledge of safe working procedures related to work performed.

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent time-management skills, including attention to detail, ability to problem solve

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in multi-disciplinary settings, as part of a team or independently

Outstanding oral and written communication

Ability to analyze data and prepare presentations and publications

Job Duties

o

Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet database, or presentation software

o

Coordinate travel and reimbursements for AIM-AHEAD Central Hub team members

o

Work with PMO in the Institute for Health Disparities to support cross-program activities and meetings. Set up and maintain agenda. Send reminders and follow up messages and information.

o

Proofread work done by others to check for correct spelling and grammar, ensure that company form policy is followed, and recommend revisions

o

Manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, correspondence or other materials

o

Document and maintain monthly, up-to-date expense reports, expense receipts and all expense related backup documents.

o

Maintain schedule and event calendars
