The Role
Part Time (14 hours/week - you set your roster), Fixed Term (December
2024)
Level 4 - $36-$39 per hour (plus 17% superannuation)
Bathurst or Wagga Wagga (other locations will be considered)
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to all staff
within the Division of People and Culture. Working on assigned projects and
tasks within allocated timelines as well as providing advice and support to
divisional staff.
To be successful you will have:
Relevant qualification/s and work experience; or an equivalent level of
knowledge gained through education, training and/or experience.
Strong technology based competency; using office software systems
including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel – data input and
presenting output) and the ability to learn and adapt to new
technologies.
High level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and
ability to adapt to various audiences.
High quality, accuracy, and attention to detail, to meet and/or exceed the
expectations of stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to organise time, monitor workload, set priorities,
meet deadlines, and follow up outstanding actions.

This position is available as a fixed term appointment or, for eligible
employees, as a secondment.
To be eligible for a secondment, a staff member must have completed probation
and at least one year of continuous service in their current continuing
position. Applicants should make themselves familiar with the Secondment
Appointments Policy and a Secondment Release Form must accompany their
application if applicable.
