The Administrative Assistant is responsible for contributing to the daily administrative and operational functions of the Montgomery Campus Center for Student Success to include:

  • Providing support and assistance to all departments within the Center for Student Success which include; the Testing Center, Advising, Tutoring, Career Services, Student Intervention, Disability Services, and Title III Project
  • Working collaboratively as a member of a team committed to each student's successful academic progress from enrollment to graduation
  • Coordinating student engagement activities and workshops
  • Delivering and supporting programs for students as well as serving as a liaison to staff and faculty in the implementation of services
  • Working in collaboration with Enrollment Management, Financial Aid, Records, academic colleges, and Student Services
  • Assisting in the exchange of information, event management, and facilities scheduling;
  • Serving as Center receptionist and coordinating student visitors and directing them to appropriate areas of the Student Success Center
  • Initiating resolution and coordinating with campus IT for computer/phone issues encountered in Center for Student Success offices
  • Assisting other Center or University areas as determined by the Director of Center for Student Success
  • Supporting campus graduation ceremonies and associated activities
  • Serving as the assistant to the Center for Student Success Director
  • Completing any and all tasks as determined by the Center for Student Success Director
  • Minimum Qualifications

    High School Diploma or equivalent.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience working in Higher Education.

    Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties? Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility Work Hours

    Hours are determined by the Center for Student Success Director and student need. May require some evening hours.
