Job description
This vacancy is only available to recent Loughborough University graduates (either those graduating last year or this academic year, July 2023) OR current undergraduate students at Loughborough University looking to undertake a placement year. Students requiring sponsorship are not eligible to apply for this position.
The position is full-time and fixed term for up to 12 months, starting in August 2023.
We are looking for a talented and committed individual to join the University's Planning Team, within the Vice-Chancellor's Office. With regular exposure to strategic university decision making and the opportunity to work with senior University managers this placement position will be of particular interest to students or graduates looking to pursue a career within the higher education sector or those looking to gain experience of strategic decision making and central administrative functions in a multi-million pound business. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various projects and will gain transferable skills which will benefit their future career.
Applicants should be highly organised and have excellent communication skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages.

We have introduced dynamic working and will consider a combination of remote and campus-based working, where possible. Please note that there is a general expectation that the successful candidate will spend the majority of time working on the Loughborough campus.
