Job Summary
To provide high-level scheduling and logistical support to the College of Engineering Assistant and Associate Deans. Responsible for administrative duties which require confidentiality, independent judgment, initiative, and the ability to make decisions relative to scheduling expectations and the needs of the Assistant and Associate Deans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
High school diploma and three (3) years of upper-level administrative support experience or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of upper-level administrative experience. Three years of experience in higher education in a similar position. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a variety of individuals at a high level of communication. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when working with highly confidential information.
MS Office suite. Strong experience in Outlook scheduling, Concur, and MS Teams. Effective written and oral communication skills. Solid working knowledge of office processes and business policy development, and of related computer software and electronic communications tools. Proven interpersonal skills with experience providing complex administrative support in a high- profile environment with tact and diplomacy. Experience managing varied requirements with multiple deadlines required. Ability to work across teams and with a variety of projects and constituencies. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Working Conditions
Standard office conditions. Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation; use of manual dexterity; lifting and moving.
Special Conditions for Eligibility
