The role will work within Marketing, Recruitment, Admissions and Outreach (MRAO) which forms part of the University's Directorate of External Relations. MRAO has responsibility for the following:
MRAO works closely with other sections of the Directorate: in particular International Student Recruitment, and Communications, but also the Office of Philanthropic Partnerships and Alumni and the Centre for Lifelong Learning. In addition we maintain key relationships with academic and support departments across the University.
The Administration Team Leader role focuses on Access and Outreach, managing and co-ordinating a small administrative team to facilitate the smooth running of the team. The role will involve liaison across the University with other academic and administrative departments. The Administration Team Leader (Access and Outreach) will take a lead role in the planning, organisation, recruitment and training of student ambassadors and lead the administration of relevant scholarships and awards.
The role will be varied with a main focus on organisaation and planning skills to coordinate the Student Ambassadors according to upcoming events and also to ensure the database is managed carefully, keeping inline with protocols and processes.
