A bit about Marketing, Recruitment and External Relations…
In the Directorate of Marketing, Recruitment and External Relations, we are responsible for the core range of activities that promote and engage with our external environment and stakeholders. This includes both prospective and current students, businesses and our local community. Made up of Marketing and Communications, Student Recruitment and Outreach and External Relations teams, we work together to plan and deliver key activities that support the University's ambitions for growth, diversity and an increased profile.
So, what will the role involve?
We are inviting applications for a permanent, full time Administration Assistant based within the Directorate Support Team in Marketing, Recruitment and External Relations.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide administrative support to a wide variety of stakeholders within the Directorate.
Providing administrative support for a wide variety of duties including financial processes, travel and arrangements for international business, staff and student recruitment, human resources and office space, the role holder will be expected to demonstrate a high level of initiative with excellent interpersonal skills, possess the ability to work autonomously and be an integral member of the Directorate Support Team.
We aim to create an inspirational, inclusive learning and working environment, celebrating the diversity of our University community. At Salford you'll be encouraged to innovate, be courageous and unstoppable, to ensure we're all working to a shared goal of delivering a great experience for our students and wider community.
Contribute to our thinking and be challenging on how Salford can transform the way it addresses equity disparities, embraces diversity and becomes more inclusive
Foster the development of an inclusive community, using teaching approaches which encourage inclusivity, working in partnership with students to improve their sense of belonging, diversifying the curriculum and using approaches to inclusive assessment to close the award gap
If you've got further questions, please contact Anne Louise Jeune, Operations Manager, firstname.lastname@example.org for an informal chat.
