  • About the Role In this role, you will provide professional and accurate administration assistance to the Project Team to enable smooth delivery of services to clients and customers. The scope of activities includes enquiry response, management support, administration associated with financial transactions and contracts, travel arrangements, and general office and operational tasks. This position will provide high level customer service to internal and external stakeholders, and is expected to quickly develop a strong understanding of the MSPACE relationships, priorities, and projects.

    Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing general administrative support such as arranging building access, IT and equipment for new staff and visitors, and order stationery and equipment supplies.
  • Preparing and processing invoices, reimbursements, reconciliation of purchasing cards, code corporate credit card statements, prepare standard contracts, and monitor event income and expenditure against budgets.
  • Organising travel arrangements including bookings, itineraries and diaries in line with University policy and procedures.
  • Who We Are Looking For To be considered for this position, you must have completed a diploma level qualification with relevant work-related experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. You should have well-developed verbal and written communication skills, experience in successfully providing administrative support, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve results.

    As the successful candidate, you will also have demonstrated experience in the coordination of high-quality events, courses, and/or other public programs, providing exceptional customer service to a diverse range of clients. You will possess proven organisation and time management skills, attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, and a high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

    You will also have:

  • Completion of a diploma level qualification with relevant work-related experience, (or completion of a certificate level qualification with work experience), or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

    This position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check to ensure the University provides a safe environment for everyone.
