Bryant University, a nationally recognized leader in higher education, is currently recruiting for Adjunct teaching opportunities for the Spring, 2022 semester. Classes meet at our campus in Smithfield, RI. The spring semester starts Thursday, January 27, 2022.

  • ECO 113 Microeconomic Principles
  • ECO 114 Macroeconomic Principles
  • For both courses, classes meet either M/W/F or T/TH. Evening classes are also offered.
  • Principal Accountabilities

    This position includes teaching at the undergraduate level as well as contributing to student growth and development through active involvement in student related co-curricular activities.

    Qualifications

  • Graduate degree (Master's, ABD or Doctorate) in a related field (Economics preferred)
  • Teaching experience preferred.
  • Based on University procedures, adjunct faculty are typically limited to teaching no more than two classes per semester.
  • Certain requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate persons with disabilities.
  • It is expected that adjunct faculty will be able to teach on-campus classes beginning Thursday, January 27, 2022. It is also expected that faculty will make good faith efforts to provide reasonable accommodations for students in their classes who are unable to attend a given class due to COVID-19, or due to their status as an international student unable to enter the U.S.
