The Military Science & Leadership program at the University of Central
Missouri seeks adjunct faculty to teach the following face-to-face course on
the Warrensburg campus. The anticipated date of appointment is August 16,
Teach one section of MS 2500 History of the U.S. Army, a 3 credit hour course
to teach ROTC Cadets the history of the US Army including its domestic and
global role, key battles, and military equipment. The class will meet on the
Warrensburg campus for lecture.
While adjunct instructors are temporary and employed for a single semester, it
is expected the successful candidate will be a stable member of the UCM Cadre
and teach for multiple consecutive semesters.

Master's degree in any field from an accredited university is acceptable.
The successful candidate must be able to obtain U.S. Army Military History
Instructor Course (MHIC) certification upon hire. Training occurs at Fort
Leavenworth, KS and a background screening is required to gain access to the
