Job Description

The undergraduate Child Development program in the LaFetra College of Education invites applicants for part-time instructors to teach undergraduate courses in child development. This is a continuous recruitment for an application pool to fill part -time, adjunct assignments on an as-needed basis. Applications are accepted year-round and will remain in the pool.

Locations: La Verne Central Campus, Bakersfield Campus, Santa Clarita Campus at College of the Canyons

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in Child Development, Human Development or related field.

Experience working with young children

Experience working with diverse populations

Job open date: Fall, 2022

Preferred Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Child Development, Human Development, Education, Psychology, or related field.

Preference will be given to those with evidence of excellence in teaching, scholarship, and mentoring.

Hiring Salary Per Hiring Rank:

Adjunct Instructor (no terminal degree): $27.04

Adjunct Professor (with terminal degree): $28.08
