Position Title Adjunct Instructor of Asian & Middle Eastern Studies (AMES)
The Program of Asian & Middle Eastern Studies (AMES) at William & Mary is
recruiting a pool of applicants to be considered for possible Adjunct
Instructor of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. We are interested in
instructors with a focus in Asia or the Middle East and Anthropology, Arts,
Classical Studies, Culture, Dance, Economics, Film & Media Studies, Gender,
Sexuality & Women's Studies, History, International Relations, Music,
Politics, Public Health/Medicine, Public Policy, Social Justice, Religion, and
Theatre. For the Academic Year 2021-2022, we are in particular encouraging
applicants interested in teaching South Asian Politics and Modern
Art/Music/Theatre of the Middle East.

A Master's degree is required
A PhD degree or professional degree or terminal degree is preferred at the
time the candidate begins the appointment, August 10 for fall and January 10
for spring start date. Previous academic teaching experience is desirable.
