Doane University invites applications for an adjunct instructor in Chemistry to start January 2023. Doane University is a liberal arts university located in Crete, NE, only 25 miles away from Lincoln, Nebraska (population 280,000).
The successful candidate will be expected to teach an in-person section of General Chemistry II during the Spring 2023 semester. The general chemistry course series are taught in a combined lecture-lab studio format. The course will be offered MWF with a run time of an hour and forty five minutes per class period. Some flexibility of the exact course section is available.
Candidates are required to have at least a masters degree in chemistry, biochemistry or a related field. Candidates with a Ph.D. in one of these fields is preferred. The ideal candidate will have the skills to communicate well with faculty and students and must demonstrate a commitment to teaching in an undergraduate liberal arts setting.
