Position Summary

The Department of Biological Sciences seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2023, Spring 2024 and Summer 2024 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.

The anticipated course openings include, but are not limited to, Forensic Microscopy.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in area of Biological Science, with professional expertise, certification, or licensure in field or area related to Forensic Microscopy. Experience in ballistics, tool marks and polarized microscopy required for Forensic Microscopy. Training and/or college teaching experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Forensic Science or field specific to available course(s). Three years of experience with ballistics, tool marks and polarized microscopy for Forensic Microscopy. Three years of related training and/or college teaching experience.
