Job Summary
Two Sections BUS 185 – Business Law 1 – must be able to teach both Sections listed below: BUS 185 – Face to Face class, W 9:00 – 11:00 – 8 Weeks 5/24 to 7/19, Ankeny campus BUS 185 – Online class, Blackboard as LMS, 5/23 to 7/19
Essential Functions
Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.
Required Qualifications
Masters in legal studies or JD (Juris Doctorate)
2 years in-field professional employment
Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrated effectiveness working with populations having diverse values, and/or coming from varied cultures and backgrounds.
Desired Qualifications
Teaching experience.
