Proposed Minimum Salary
This position will teach Adult Health Nursing beginning Spring 2022. This
position is funded by the CARES Act/HEERF funds. Continued employment is
contingent on the renewal of funding.
Teach Adult Health Nursing and practicum courses.
Work collaboratively with the lead faculty in the implementation of Adult
Health, II Nursing Practicum courses.
Maintain records as designed and structured; submit attendance and
evaluation of the learners' performance; schedule and maintain weekly
office hours and mentor students; post grades (mid-term & final); and
follow-through in other duties as prescribed.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Master's Degree in Nursing
Experience and credentialing in Adult Health Nursing, II preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated knowledge, skills and service in nursing education and
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Required Licensure and/or Certification:
Current license to practice nursing in the State of Texas or eligible to
apply of licensure.
