Position Summary
The Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary is recruiting a pool of adjunct faculty (Section Leaders) to lead one or more 7.5-week course sections within the Online Master of Science in Marketing (MSM) program.
Building on our history of innovation, the Online MSM program is designed to prepare the next generation of marketing leaders. An extension of the long- standing foundation of excellence that makes our graduate business programs among the highest- ranked in the nation, the Online MSM program offers students the opportunity to develop broad yet deep expertise in the tools, technologies, and strategies used by forward-thinking marketers across industries.

Section Leaders serve a vital role within the Online MSM program and are valued members of the Raymond A. Mason School of Business and the William & Mary community. Under the supervision of the Master Teacher, Section Leaders facilitate their assigned course section(s) by posting course announcements, engaging in discussion boards, offering weekly office hours, responding to student inquiries, monitoring student progress, grading student assignments, and providing students with substantive, timely feedback. Section Leaders are provided with professional learning opportunities and are invited to attend on-campus events.
Position duties include:
Section Leaders typically spend 15 to 20 hours per week on the duties listed above.
Selected candidates must demonstrate proficiency using the learning management system and knowledge of applicable policies and procedures by completing all required training and orientation activities prior to the term start date.
