Midland University, a private, Christian, liberal-arts college in Fremont,
Nebraska, (just outside of metro Omaha) is seeking an exceptional adjunct
faculty member to teach in a medical surgical clinical setting for a nursing
course in the School of Nursing.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: collaborating with nursing
course faculty; coordinating with hospital staff to prepare clinical
assignments for a group of 6-8 students in an acute care hospital setting in
the Fremont or Omaha area; documenting clinical feedback; grading of clinical
assignments; conducting student midterm and final clinical evaluations;
responding to student inquiries within 24-hours, and meeting with them
individually as needed. Courses are offered in 16-week terms. Spring 2022
Unencumbered Registered Nurse License in the state of Nebraska or Iowa.
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or enrollment in a Master's or
Doctoral program in Nursing.
Clinical experience in Medical Surgical Nursing
Ability to meet clinical agency requirements, such as a background check,
abuse check, drug testing, CPR, immunizations, health care insurance, etc.
