The department of Epidemiology & Health Promotion at the NYU College of
Dentistry is seeking an adjunct professor/instructor for Spring 2022 (with
opportunity for renewal). The course is “Scientific Writing” and is offered
as part the MS program in Clinical Research. Scientific Writing is a 3 credit
course and is scheduled for Thursdays from 5PM to 730PM (alternative day
options potentially available). Course enrollment is expected to be between
15-25 students. Materials (e.g., syllabus, presentations, assignments) used
in previous offerings of the course are available, but faculty have freedom to
develop and use new and additional materials as desired.
Preference is given to interested adjuncts with a demonstrated history of
scientific writing and publishing and familiarity with the publication
process. Education/experience in technical writing a plus but not required.

appointment level in keeping with a 3 credit class.
