Doane University , a nationally recognized liberal arts and sciences university in Crete,Nebraska, invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty of Environmental Science. A masters degree is required; preferred credentials include a terminal degree in the earth or environmental sciences or prior teaching experience in atmospheric sciences and/or meteorology. The successful applicant will teach the course GEO 107: Introduction to Meteorology starting in the fall semester of 2023. The course modality is in-person on Doane's residential campus in Crete, Nebraska. The course meets for approximately 3 hours each week for 16 weeks. There is flexibility on the course's weekly meeting time(s) (including evenings). Weekly course meeting time(s) will be agreed upon by the successful applicant and chair of the Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences department.
