under the College of Agriculture, Life and Natural Sciences; College of
Business and Public Affairs; College of Education, Humanities and Behavioral
Sciences and College of Engineering, Technology and Physical Science. The
School of Graduate Studies serves about 1,400 and offers doctoral degree
programs in Applied Physics, Food Science, Plant/Soil Science and

Affairs at Alabama A&M University invites applications from outstanding
candidates for an adjunct instructor position in Economics.
The preferred starting date for this position is August 15, 2019.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach principles and advanced level economics courses (such as, Basic
Economics, Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics,
etc.) at the undergraduate.
Engage in scholarly activities.
Serve on various committees and professional activities.
Display excellence in teaching, intellectual contributions, effective
advising, and service in the department, college and university levels.
Perform other duties as assigned.
A Masters in Economics or in a related field is required.
College or university level teaching experience is preferred.
Candidates with a Masters degree in a related field with 18 semester
credit hours of graduate level economics courses will be considered.
Demonstration of scholarly contribution, such as, publication in refereed
journal, conference presentation, etc.
SALARY: $3,000 per course.
