The School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences (SMAPS) at the University of New England (UNE) seeks applications for adjunct teaching professors to teach General Physics II with Laboratory (PHY 111) in the Spring 2023 semester (January 18 to May 12, 2023).
General Physics is an introductory physics course taught in a student-centered studio physics setting. The school teaches many life, health and marine science majors and uses activities adapted and implemented for an “Introductory Physics for the Life Sciences” approach. Class sections meet for 3-hour periods twice weekly.

A master's degree in physics or a related field is required; candidates with a Ph.D. or college teaching experience are preferred.
