Position Information
Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The UNC Adams School of Dentistry Division of Craniofacial and Surgical Care
provides a diverse approach to treatment for patients with craniofacial or
oral and maxillofacial conditions, including those with multiple or complex
oral health problems. The Orthodontics discipline focuses on the treatment of
irregularities of the teeth, jaws, and bite relationship in children and
adults.
Position Summary
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for an
adjunct faculty position. Responsibilities include providing didactic
instruction and clinical supervision for advanced education orthodontic
residents. The ideal candidate must be an excellent clinician, teacher,
mentor, and care provider.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
DDS/DMD or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Evidence of a strong sustained clinical practice either in an academic or
private practice setting.
