Position Summary
The Department of Biological Sciences seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Assistant Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2023, Spring 2024 and Summer 2024 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
Courses requiring laboratory assistance may include Environmental Science, Biology for Science Majors, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Human Evolution & Physical Anthropology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Immunology, Parasitology, Animal Physiology, Biochemistry / Molecular Biology, Forensic Molecular and Forensic Microscopy, along with others.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 18 hours of advanced coursework in the Biological Sciences (or related area specific to the laboratory course). College-level laboratory instruction experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry/Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Ecology or related area specific to the laboratory course assignment. One year of demonstrated college-level laboratory instruction experience.
