Position Summary
The Department of Biological Sciences seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Assistant Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2023, Spring 2024 and Summer 2024 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
The anticipated need is for Laboratory course sections with anticipated need may include, but are not limited to, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Genetics, Parasitology, Immunology, Animal Physiology, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Biology for Science Majors and Environmental Science.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 18 hours of advanced coursework in the Biological Sciences (or related area specific to the laboratory course). College-level laboratory instruction experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry/Molecular Biology, or related area specific to the laboratory course assignment(s). One year of demonstrated college-level laboratory instruction experience.
