  • The investigator will work in a scientific team specializing in studies on cell biology, animal physiology and pathophysiology, genomics. The investigator will be conducting in vitro experiments based on cell culture models, in vivo studies on laboratory animals, and will be involved in bioinformatic analyses. In addition, this position includes teaching of Animals Physiology and/or Biochemistry courses for students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine as well as other faculties (teacher of the practical laboratories – 240h per year).

    Eligibility criteria

    Skills/Qualifications

    Experience in planning and conducting scientific research, experience in writing scientific articles, distinguishing knowledge in the field of animal physiology or biochemistry, teaching experience.

    Specific Requirements

    1. PhD diploma in the discipline of veterinary medicine or related disciplines.

    2. Documented experience in writing scientific articles, which have been published in journals listed in Journal Citation Reports.

    3. Distinguishing knowledge in the field of animal physiology, or biochemistry and chemistry.

    4. Teaching experience in the field of animal physiology or biochemistry.

    5. Documented experience in conducting scientific research using in vitro and in vivo models and bioinformatic analyses.

    6. Good skills in English language, sufficient to write scientific papers independently, be a teacher of animal physiology or biochemistry courses conducted in English, actively participate in international scientific conferences.

    7. Documented active participation in scientific grants financed by entitled institutions.

    8. Documented experience in writing scientific grant applications, or raising funds for research and managing of a research project.
