The Finance Division is seeking to appoint 3 Accounts Assistants to join its Shared Services Finance team.
The Finance Division manages the financial resources of the University and provides support services for the financial functions carried out by the University's departments. The role will be part of the Shared Services Finance team, usually based at Greenwich House, Madingley Rise (off of Madingley Road), but currently working partly from home and partly from the office.
Shared Services Finance predominantly provides Accounts Payable processing services to a large number of the University's departments and supports the drive for change and increased efficiencies. They also provide some Accounts Receivable services to administrative departments of the University.
You will be part of a vibrant and diverse team, who assist the Team Leaders in the provision of a customer-focused service. As part of a busy team, you will carry out supplier invoice processing within agreed timescales and deal with queries on financial processing matters and University procedures from departments and suppliers.
You will possess the ability to work effectively in a team and have experience dealing with customers and colleagues at all levels. Good time management and attention to detail is essential.
You should be educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including English and Mathematics. Experience using Oracle Financials will be an advantage, as will experience of processing high volumes of data in a timely and accurate manner. You may have the opportunity to work towards an AAT qualification, subject to satisfactory completion of a probationary period and funding being available.

This role would usually be based at Greenwich House, however the Finance Division is currently trialling hybrid working, with two days a week from Greenwich House. This arrangement is currently temporary.
