Accounting Officer/Accounting Executive in the Clinical Trials Centre (Ref.: 523720)

The Clinical Trials Centre (HKU-CTC) is a leading clinical trials management platform established under The University of Hong Kong LKS Faculty of Medicine (HKUMed) and is dedicated to managing and facilitating international- standard clinical trials on new drugs, medical devices and medical technologies. HKU-CTC offers long-term development opportunities to passionate talents who pursue career advancement and success.

HKU-CTC is undergoing rapid development in Hong Kong and Mainland China. We are seeking a high calibre finance and accounting professional to join us as an Accounting Executive. Candidate with higher qualifications or more experience may be considered for appointment as Accounting Officer.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily accounting and financial operations;
  • Maintain and verify financial records in systems;
  • Perform account and transaction reconciliations;
  • Prepare financial and management reports;
  • Other accounting duties as required.

    • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Business or related disciplines;
  • 1 year's accounting experience is preferred, fresh university graduates will also be considered;
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented and independent;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • Good knowledge of PC and software applications such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

    • The appointment will be made on a two-year fixed-term full-time contract, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
