Everett Community College is seeking to build a pool of qualified instructors to teach accounting. Applicants will be contacted as employment opportunities arise.
Responsibilities include teaching accounting classes for both professional/technical and university transfer courses.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or closely related field. - Demonstrated experience, and/or classroom strategies for effectively instructing students across the range of diversity to include: cultures, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, ability, class, and religion.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Master's Degree in accounting, finance or business related area. -Professional certification in related field, such as CPA or CMA. -Professional technical courses, applicant must be able to document at least 4000 hours full time equivalent experience in accounting related practice beyond the training period. -Excel, Quickbooks experience a requirement for some classes -Tax experience a requirement for some classes -One or more years teaching or training in the post-secondary level. -Commitment to continued updating of competencies, and training. -A philosophy of education appropriate to a learning centered community college. -Evidence of commitment to grow and change, and involvement in professional and campus activities. -Previous experience with on-line platforms such as Canvas.
