Wanting to take this to the next step we are seeking to appoint a n Accountancy Assistant to work as part of a professional service team responsible for the research funding portfolio for the University.
The post will involve research finance and administration; following complex financial guidelines, costing applications, providing financial advice, setting up processes, reporting on activity, audit requirements, contracts, awards administration, communication with both internal and external stakeholders and working with applicants to maximise cost recovery.
You will be well organised, analytical with an eye for detail and capable of effectively managing a wide range of simultaneous projects/activities. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and can prioritise their work to meet deadlines in a highly deadline driven environment. Good communication, IT and customer service skills are essential to the role. This role will include hybrid working between Home and Highfield main campus.
