About the role:We are looking for an Accommodation Security Officer to join our security team. This position involves supporting students and staff at the University's main campus and off-site buildings, ensuring a safe environment throughout.
The role is very customer focused. You will be expected to perform well when dealing with emergencies, medical first aid response, alarm activations and many other reported incidents.
This is a permanent role, working 36.5 hours per week. These hours will be worked on a rotating shift basis cover 24/7 365 days of the year, attracting a 15% shift allowance. At times during staff shortages you may be required to work with other Campus teams and cover different shifts.
The appointment will be made subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) clearance being obtained.
