Instructors typically arrive 2 days prior to the start of the program for
orientation and planning.
General shift hours
Instruction time varies throughout the day; this is an intensive
learning/working environment that requires up 10-14 hours per day of
engagement with students/staff in a residential setting, in a remote area in
Minimum Salary $500 per week, plus room and board.
Job Summary/Basic Function
French Language Instructor for Adult Programs:
A. Work under the direction of dean and designated leadership staff members as
part of the teaching team.
B. Work in a productive, collegial relationship with CLV colleagues to
develop, implement and ensure a strong immersion program.
C. Be an active, facilitative and visible staff member and colleague.
D. Lead and assist with activities as assigned.
E. Participate in large-group and small-group formats; assume leadership of a
program element as appropriate.
F. Create a safe environment in which participants feel accepted by staff and
