The Department of Pathology at The University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine seeks candidates for an Assistant, Associate or Professor position on either the tenure track or non-tenure clinical track to take part in an active and expanding surgical pathology service. Our intent is to recruit multiple candidates spanning various sub-specialties, including pulmonary/thoracic pathology, breast pathology, gynecologic pathology, and genitourinary pathology.
Education Requirement:
MD or equivalent
Graduation from an accredited Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology residency program
Fellowship training or equivalent experience/expertise in general or specialty surgical pathology
Certifications:
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience, fellowship training, or interest in Pulmonary/Thoracic, Breast Pathology, Gynecologic Pathology, and/or Genitourinary Pathology.
Excellent skills in either general or subspecialty surgical pathology
2 years of academic experience
Demonstrated ability to excel at scholarship and teaching
Evidence of leadership potential
