Faculty Operations – Faculty of Environment, Science and Economy, (Business School)

This full-time, permanent post is available immediately. Part-time and job- sharing arrangements may be considered in agreement with the successful candidate, ensuring that business needs are met.

Summary of the role

The role of Academic Support Administrators (ASAs) is to support the academic staff in the Business School. The team plays an integral role in supporting academics and especially Heads of Department with a wide variety of administration and event management tasks, ensuring the smooth running of their departments. The ASA will build a close rapport with the academics and will be based within a dedicated and motivated team of administrators all supporting academic staff in the Business School.

The successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver with experience of supporting committees and taking minutes. They will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills as well as strong numeracy and IT skills (Microsoft Office, T1 and SharePoint).
