About the Role
As an Academic Services Officer, you will provide a high level of administrative support to the students, academic and professional staff across all programs in the School of Design. This role will see you work collaboratively with internal and external colleagues; contribute to events and other student-facing activities; and provide secretarial services to relevant committees and meetings.
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
Demonstrated experience in the provision of quality academic administrative services.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, including proven ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines in a large and complex tertiary environment.
Proven ability to work effectively as a member of a team delivering academic programs, and experience interacting effectively with academics and students.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with people from a range of cultural backgrounds.
Demonstrated high level of computer literacy, including knowledge and experience with university systems.
A high level of initiative and independence with the ability to work with limited direction.
