We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Academic Programmes Assistant to join the Academic Programmes Centre team at the Nuffield Department of Medicine. The Centre was established in 2021 to provide the highest level of support for all of its current and future educational offerings including its DPhil programme and multiple post-graduate taught courses.
Reporting to the Academic Programme Officer, you will provide administrative support to the Officer in the areas of student admissions, student assessments, student progression and participation, student feedback, course finances as well as engagement with lecturers and arranging their payments.
It is essential that you are educated to GCSE level, or equivalent with previous administrative experience or proven administrative skills. You will be an effective team player supporting colleagues in the Academic Programmes Centre but also have the ability to work independently using your own initiative. You will be able to prioritise your own workload and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Having experience of working in an academic administration role, preferably within a HE setting is desirable.
