The Department of Anthropology at Texas A&M University invites applications for up to two full-time, non-tenure Lecturer positions in Archaeology. The start date for these positions is August 16, 2022; classes will begin on August 24, 2022. The successful candidate will be expected to teach four undergraduate courses per semester, including a four-field introductory course and introductory and upper level courses in archaeology.


PhD in Anthropology (in hand by August 2022) with an emphasis in any area of archaeology. Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience and a demonstrated ability to teach electives in hunter-gatherer archaeology.
