HOURS:
This role generally requires individuals to attend meetings from 9 am CST/EST to 5:00 pm CST/EST. Hours worked are based on business need to support university constituents. Travel up to 30% may be required to support academic regulatory initiatives and will fluctuate based on specific initiatives and support needed.

The responsibilities of the Academic Compliance Specialists II fall within six categories
The Academic Compliance Specialist II interacts with constituents at all levels of the University as well as with external regulatory partners to assure ongoing compliance. Develop of standard processes and documentation that supports those processes will be a primary responsibility. The role will be responsible for collaboration with the programmatic leaders on the development of standard regulatory submission templates, working with the Data Analytics/Compliance team to define reporting requirements for third party regulators, and with the Academic Operations Leadership team on the development of audit checklists and timeframes. The Academic Compliance Specialist reports to the Senior Director of Academic Compliance and works with various leaders to provide the Chief Academic Officer with the information necessary to keep the Executive Team and the Board of Trustees appraised of University compliance on an ongoing basis.
