This position, reporting to the Director, Center for Civic Engagement and Experiential Learning, supports multiple needs within Academic Affairs including student experience initiatives, administration and analysis of campus surveys, institutional planning and effectiveness, and academic affairs process management. This role promotes student success by supporting the mission of the Academic Affairs unit and Provost Office to ensure academic integrity and provide the highest possible quality of educational programs.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsibility Griffin Ready InitiativeDescription
Project manage collaborative efforts of various partners involved in the Griffin Ready project. This project includes a robust student advising model and purposeful integration of career preparation into the curriculum and co- curriculum.
Ensure consistency and continuity of initiatives and information between student experience partners.
Collaborate with key campus partners including the Career Center, Dumke Center for Civic Engagement, and the Gore Giovale Center for Innovative Leadership to provide project management, administrative, and programmatic support to the campus student experience project. This includes relationship management with internal and external partners, and event planning for the spring Student Showcase.
Support Dumke Center for Civic Engagement initiatives through helping to mentor student employees and collaborating with campus and external partners on community engagement projects and events.
Responsibility Campus SurveysDescription
Responsible for helping campus constituents develop and manage institutional surveys and review outcome data. Help to develop visual representations of data as needed. Coordinate appropriate scheduling of surveys to minimize responder fatigue.
Responsibility Institutional Planning and EffectivenessDescription
Work closely with the Senior Director for Institutional Research, Planning and Effectiveness, the Associate Provost for Curriculum and Assessment, Provost, and others to provide user-friendly data and information to help data-driven decision making for the college's strategic planning, budgeting, and assessment processes.
Responsibility Process ManagementDescription
Manage and update Academic Affairs and faculty processes and resources such as: manuals, handbooks, files, electronic documents and other items as needed to ensure accuracy and consistency. Ensure the consistency and continuity of information and resources from faculty committees. Serve as note-taker for full faculty and senate meetings.
