The workload and compensation will be comparable to teaching a course with 160 hours in a semester, roughly about 10 hours a week for a 16 week semester. The assignment can be renewed each semester based on satisfactory performance and up to 3 consecutive assignments may be made per academic year (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Most work can be performed remotely and/or in the evenings and weekends, although some work will need to be performed in person on the La Verne campus, roughly about 20% of the 10 hours per week during the daytime work hours. The position requires a master's degree in business administration or related fields. The University of La Verne MBA graduates are encouraged to apply. Applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, a copy of a graduate transcript, and a list of 3-5 references (include it in the resume). The position may begin as early as January 30, 2023. Only selected candidates will be contacted.

Job Duties Be the primary contact and support for students enrolled in the MBA programs (Pre MBA, MBA, and MBAX). Provide routine advising to students enrolled in the programs. Maintain the files of all assigned advisees. Track the academic development of these students.

Contact, at the beginning of each session, the non-registered advisees to determine their status, document the reasons for the lack of registering, and compile the data. Maintain retention data and follow up with non-registered advisees.
