Primary Purpose of the Position

The Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance is seeking Adjunct Faculty to provide part-time instruction of undergraduate-level courses in Economics.

Minimum Experience/Education Normal Work Schedule

  • Ability to teach weekdays and/or evenings.
  • Department Required Skills

  • Master's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Economics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively with students, faculty, staff and diverse populations.
  • Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

  • Previous experience teaching in a university or college environment.
  • Required License or Certification

  • Master's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Economics.
  • Valid US Driver's License No Commercial Driver's License Required No Physical Required No List any other medical/drug tests required

    Adequately prepare all course materials and lessons. Provide each student with clear course expectations, evaluations, timelines and approved syllabus. Provide engaging and relevant assignments for students that demonstrate learning outcomes. Suitably challenge, engage, serve and communicate with students to encourage their participation and learning while maintaining mutual value and respect. Complete grade books, mid-term and final grade submission, learning assessments and final exam assessments on a timely basis Respond to student questions on a timely basis. Ensure course and program learning outcomes are delivered as defined by the syllabus.
