2 PhD Positions in VPET Economics (80%)

The Centre for Research in Economics of Education invites applications for 2 PhD positions in the field of economics of vocational and professional education as part of the research program of the Swiss Leading House on VPET Economics (www. leadinghouse.ch).

The successful applicants are expected to write their cumulative thesis in the field of economics of vocational and professional education with a choice of several in-teresting topics. We offer the environment of a top-class economics department complemented by the research infrastructure of the Leading House, which has its own doctoral programme with renowned international lecturers in the field of economics of education. You will be part of a team with post-docs and an assistant professorship yet to be created. You will have preferential access to interesting empirical datasets and resources to create your own empirical observations and datasets.

We expect an above average master's degree in economics with a strong focus on empirical methods (econometrics) and with the required grade average for a PhD at the University of Bern.
